Summary | The objective of this research is to develop and assess employment concepts for intelligent automated systems¿ use in medical evacuation and critical care while operating in high threat environments. In collaboration with ONR Code 342, a concept of employment for the autonomous casualty evacuation (ACE) system composed of emerging technologies such as the automated critical care system, mobile quarantine bag, litter interface for transport stabilization, and auto-navigation will be developed for a future operational scenario and assessed for evacuation effectiveness, operational and technical risk, and vulnerability to enemy exploitation. |
