The Naval War College (NWC) Monterey partnership with the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) for Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) celebrated its 90th graduating class during a ceremony in King Auditorium, March 17. Through the partnership, 6,341 officers have earned this certification since the program’s inception in September 1999.
U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Shoshana Chatfield, NWC President, and Professor Robert Tomlinson, Associate Dean and Chairman of NWC at NPS, presided over the ceremony where 67 U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force officers earned their NWC Command and Staff diploma with JPME Phase I certification for the second quarter of Academic Year 2022.
