Join Us for a Timely Discussion on Taiwan's Geopolitical Strategy

Global ECCO is excited to invite you to the latest edition of CTX Conversations, featuring an in-depth discussion between Dr. Tommy Jamison and Dr. Sulmaan Khan on the critical topic of Taiwan's Geopolitical Strategy: Adapting to Shifts in Global Power Dynamics.

Dr. Sulmaan Khan, who holds the Denison Chair in International History and Chinese Foreign Relations at the Fletcher School, Tufts University, is a leading expert on U.S.-China-Taiwan relations. He is the author of the acclaimed book The Struggle for Taiwan, which provides the first comprehensive analysis of the triangular relationship between the U.S., China, and Taiwan. In his work, Dr. Khan explores:

  • America's complex and ambivalent commitment to Taiwan's defense
  • China's deep-rooted resentment over Taiwan's separation
  • Taiwan's remarkable transformation into a thriving democracy

Dr. Khan argues that while war is not inevitable, understanding the lessons of the past is crucial for avoiding conflict in this volatile region.

This live conversation with Dr. Tommy Jamison promises to be a thought-provoking exploration of Taiwan's future in a rapidly changing world. Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights into one of the most pressing geopolitical issues of our time.

We look forward to your participation in this vital discussion.
